This is life…right here, right now.

Not later. Not in another version of yourself. Not after this body is gone. Not in heaven, not in another dimension, not in a next incarnation.

This.

And that realization can feel both simple and confronting at the same time.

Because what we usually take ourselves to be…..this person, this character in the dream….quietly assumes there will be more chances. Another moment. Another life. Another opportunity to finally “get it right,” to finally be happy.

But this “little self” is not the one that continues.

It is an appearance. A role. A temporary expression within something much greater.

What you truly are……is Consciousness itself.

And Consciousness does not live in “later.”

It is always now.

So the only place anything can ever be experienced, shifted, or recognized…is here.

Now.

That is why this moment is not just a moment.

It is the only moment.

And suddenly the question becomes very direct: If everyone wants to be happy, and if happiness is not something we achieve but something we uncover, then when does that happen?

And again : not later.

Now.

A Course in Miracles points to a single, very clear shift: happiness is found when we choose love instead of fear. But that choice is not made in some distant future. It is made in the quiet, ordinary moments, this moment, of your day.

In how you look at someone….how you interpret a situation….how you speak to yourself.

And sometimes it can feel as if fear is our natural starting point, as if it is just “how we are.” but that is only a habit.

Fear is simply what we learned and we can in every moment choose different…you are the boss of your life.,

By realizing this every moment becomes something very gentle… and very powerful : A new chance. Not in another life. But here.

To choose differently, to pause and instead of following the familiar pull of tension, judgment, or control, try to wee just a little, through the eyes of love.

And that is enough.

Because the moment you choose love, even slightly, you are no longer waiting for happiness…you are happiness.
