We’ve all been there….we tend to think our “weakness” is just who we are. But what if I told you that feeling weak is actually just a choice to keep the lights turned off?
Today’s big lesson is simple but life-changing: Miracles are seen in light, and light and strength are one.
Think of your mind like a massive, beautiful mansion. It could be perfect,
but most of the time we act as if we are haunted.
Haunted by who? By our own ego!
Because our ego loves the dark….in thr darkness it can whisper scary things like:
“It’s their fault I am unhappy.” (the so-called blame game)
“If people knew the real me, they wouldn’t like me.” (the guilt trip)
“I’m just a victim of circumstances.” (the “I’m small” story)
The ego keeps us in the dark because the moment we flip the switch, we realize the “ghosts” were just piles of old laundry. We don’t see because we are actually trying not to see.
Strength = Seeing Clearly
In this “light,” we find our true strength. Real strength isn’t about being “tough” or controlling others. Real strength is Inner Peace.
Weakness says: “I’m terrified of what might happen tomorrow.”
Strength says: “I am safe right now, and I am loved.”
When you choose to look at your life through the lens of love (the Light), miracles start happening. And no, a miracle isn’t necessarily a rabbit jumping out of a hat…a miracle is a shift in how you see things.
What a Miracle looks like in real life:
The traffic jam: Instead of boiling with rage at the guy who cut you off (weakness/darkness), you take a breath and realize he’s probably having a stressed-out day just like you. Suddenly, the anger vanishes. That’s a miracle.
The mirror: Instead of zooming in on every flaw and “imperfection” (weakness/darkness), you look at yourself and think, “I am doing my best, and I am worthy of love.” That’s a miracle.
The grudge: You finally stop waiting for an apology from someone who hurt you and decide your peace of mind is more important than being “right.” That’s a miracle.
You aren’t small, you aren’t a victim, and you definitely aren’t “sinful.” Underneath all that mental clutter is a light so bright it could power a city.
Next time you feel overwhelmed, just remember: You have the power to choose your teacher. You can listen to the ego in the dark, or you can step into the light and reclaim your strength.
Which one are you choosing today?
With love and light,
G.
