For almost two thousand years, the Gospel of Thomas lay hidden beneath the sands of Egypt…until a clay jar was discovered near Nag Hammadi in 1945.
Inside were thirteen ancient papyrus books written in Coptic, untouched by later interpretations. Among them was this collection of 114 sayings, simple, direct, and shining with the unmistakable voice of awakening.
Unlike the traditional gospels that tell a story, Thomas whispers in riddles of light.
When read through the lens of A Course in Miracles, these sayings transform from mysterious fragments into living reminders:
Heaven is not somewhere else or someday later… it is here, now, within the awareness that we are.
I have placed a booklet on our website nullity.nl, where each saying is followed by a short reflection and a small example from daily life, because Truth was never meant to be distant or difficult.
I’ve done my best to describe every saying through the light of ACIM and to add a simple, modern example to each…hopefully without too many mistakes or misinterpretations… just offered with love and joy.
This is not theology; it is remembrance
a conversation between the ancient and the eternal, between words written long ago and the Word still alive within us.
May these reflections help you remember what was never lost:
that Love is here, waiting quietly for recognition.
“Heaven is not a place nor a time…it is the awareness of perfect Oneness.” (A Course in Miracles)
You can read the complete booklet, of course for free, on nullity.nl under “Books and Resources.”
With love and light,
