Let’s take a moment to reflect on that mysterious word: Creation.

It sounds big… almost too big to fit inside our small human mouths.

In the world, it usually refers to something physical:

a painting by Picasso, Elon Musk’s latest invention, a new Harry Potter novel…

But in the light of A Course in Miracles, Creation is something entirely different:

Creation is pure Spirit.

It is what God does…

You could compare it to the sun radiating light:

it simply cannot help but shine….it is its nature.

In the same way, God extends His Love,

and so do we,

because we are in fact part of the vast, eternal Creation that never stops.

The Course says it simply:

“Creation is the sum of all God’s Thoughts, in number infinite, and everywhere without all limit.”

That might sound like advanced math, but it’s really poetry.

It means that everything that truly exists,

everything that is loving,

everything that is eternal…

is Creation.

You, me, all of us….without limits.

Imagine if Creation really meant that God once baked a world in some sort of heavenly oven:

a kilo of clay, two tablespoons of DNA, some minerals, a dash of time…

and voilà…there’s the human being.

Then God would also be the author of pain, decay, and death.

He would have created fear, separation, and suffering, and called it good.

But that can’t be true, because Love does not create fear.

Perfection does not create imperfection.

And Eternity does not give birth to what dies.

If I believe I’ve been created this way…it’s logical I feel small, heavy, and limited.

But the moment I soften, the moment I forgive,

and I stop believing my own little soap opera…

I feel something gentle shining through.

And that gentleness is Creation.

Lesson 265:

“Creation’s gentleness is all I see.”

Our true nature….love…gentleness….is what we are.

Even when we forget.

And the most beautiful part?

We don’t need to add anything to it.

We only need to stop covering it up.

He he.

Now that feels like relief.

With love and light,

G.
