Dr. Steven Greer, a name that resonates more and more with people, is one of the pioneers preparing the world for what might be the greatest shift in human history: the realization that we are not alone in the universe. Greer, founder of the Disclosure Project and author of several books on extraterrestrial life, asserts that evidence of extraterrestrial civilizations has existed for decades. Yet, much of this information remains hidden from the public. But why? And what prevents us from perceiving this new reality?
Our Limited Perception
One fascinating example Dr. Greer often refers to is the way our brains and senses interpret the world around us. Our eyes perceive far more than our brains actually process. This is not a mystical idea but a scientific fact. We filter information based on what we believe is possible.
Take the famous story of the indigenous people of the Americas who initially did not see the ships of the Spaniards. These ships were so far outside their frame of reference that their brains simply ignored the visual information. Only after a shaman pointed them out could they process the image and actually see the ships. According to Dr. Greer, a similar phenomenon is happening today with extraterrestrial presence: they are already here, but we do not see them because our minds are closed to the idea.
A New Paradigm: What If They Are Already Here?
Greer posits that countless testimonies and documents suggest contact with extraterrestrial civilizations. He emphasizes that many of these beings are not only technologically advanced but also spiritually evolved. They operate on frequencies we do not yet fully understand, which could explain why they remain ‘invisible’ to many.
The idea that our perception is shaped by our beliefs aligns beautifully with the teachings of A Course in Miracles (ACIM). In ACIM, we learn that we see the world through the lens of our projections and beliefs. When we choose fear and denial, we see only illusions. But when we open ourselves to love and truth, we perceive a reality that was previously hidden.
Could this also apply to seeing extraterrestrial civilizations? Perhaps they are not hidden but rather our closed minds prevent us from perceiving them.
The Role of Openness and Preparation
Dr. Greer advocates for active preparation among humanity. He stresses that governments, despite decades of secrecy, are slowly but surely disclosing more information. These revelations are often released in small steps to avoid mass panic. Greer urges individuals not to wait for official declarations but to begin expanding their horizons now.
A key aspect of this preparation is letting go of fear. Fear, according to both Greer and ACIM, is the greatest barrier to growth and truth. If we view extraterrestrial beings as threatening, we will only mirror that fear in our experience. But if we approach them with an open heart and a desire for connection, we may discover that they are a source of wisdom and support.
Are We Ready?
The question remains: are we ready to see what has always been around us? Perhaps we are in a similar situation to the indigenous peoples who could not perceive the Spanish ships. It requires an inner shift, a conscious choice for love, openness, and curiosity.
As Dr. Greer suggests, this is not just a matter of technology or science but, above all, a matter of consciousness. The universe is teeming with life, and if we are willing to open our eyes and minds, we can step into a new chapter of human history—a chapter not defined by fear and separation but by connection and collaboration.
