In Awareness itself there is no need for choice. There is no preference,

no opposition, no tension. Love is there, not opposite to something else.

But the moment Awareness wants to experience, something very subtle arises, because ‘experience requires distinction’.

Without contrast there is no experience.

Without difference there is no movement, no story, no form.

And here duality appears……Fear as the counterpart of love!

Awareness did not “choose fear” in the way a human chooses something negative. Fear is not a mistake, not a sin, not an accident.

Fear is the logical shadow of love the moment form appears, because

Love means : unity, expansion, no boundary,

and form means : limitation, beginning and end.

Where boundaries appear, the possibility of loss automatically appears… and where loss seems possible, fear appears.

Not as an enemy, but as a byproduct of form. Just as shadow appears

when there is light.

Fear is in fact the other side of the same coin.

Within the dream of form, love and fear belong together, not as equals, but as complements.

Fear is what love seems to become when unity is experienced from separation.

That is why fear in ACIM is not fought, but recognized.

Not: “this should not be here”,

but: “this is what love seems to be when it is forgotten.”

The lesson of today does not say: you are only love and fear does not belong to you. It actually says: your true identity is not formed.

Our holiness does not lie in denying fear, but in the fact that fear does not define us.

Fear belongs to the movie…….Holiness belongs to the screen.

The body, the world, the forms: that is where fear appears.

But what you are…..Awareness itself…..is not affected by it.

That is why ACIM can say so calmly: nothing real can be threatened.

Not because fear is not felt, but because it never touches the Self.

Why then this experience?

Perhaps this is the simplest way to say it:

Awareness did not choose fear, but took the risk of forgetting.

And in that forgetting: love was experienced as its opposite, unity was experienced as loss, freedom was experienced as vulnerability.

And precisely because of this, remembering became possible. Not as an achievement, but as a recognition.

So…..

Love is the source.

Fear is the shadow in form.

Duality is the playing field.

Holiness is what never entered the game.

In other words: fear belongs to the dream. Holiness belongs to the dreamer.

And the miracle is not that fear disappears, but that it is seen through.

That does not feel like struggle, but like coming home.

With love and light,

G.
