A classic conversation starter…on dates, at parties, even in spiritual retreats.
We all know them: Pisces, Virgo, Leo, Sagittarius… whole books have been written about their traits.
You may be sensitive because you’re a Cancer, or bold because you’re an Aries.
You may blame your indecision on being a Libra, and your mood swings on Mercury retrograde.
Sounds familiar?
No judgment… we all have done it.
From ancient Babylon to trendy apps today, astrology has been a way to understand who we are and why we do what we do.
But then A Course in Miracles comes along and lovingly whispers:
“I am not a body. I am free. For I am still as God created me.”
So not a body defined by the stars? Not even by my birth chart?!
Now that changes the cosmic game.
The ego adores identity games. It’s quite the collector:
Labels like “introvert,” “extrovert,” “triple Gemini with a Scorpio moon.”
Roles like “mother,” “teacher,” “healer,” “mystic.”
And yes, even “spiritual person who totally gets astrology.”
But here’s the gentle challenge from ACIM:
“The ego seeks to divide and separate. The Holy Spirit seeks to unify and heal.”
If your star sign gives you a sense of separation…from others, from your Source, or from your true nature…then it’s become a wall instead of a window.
What if the stars are just mirrors?
But what if….just what if….astrology can also be seen as a mirror for healing?
What if your chart shows the exact curriculum your soul chose in this lifetime…
…not to define you, but to transcend the illusion of separation?
You might say: “Okay, I’m a Leo… I love to be seen. But instead of seeking attention, I’ll choose to let the Light shine through me.”
Or: “I’m a Pisces… deeply sensitive. But instead of drowning in emotion, I use it as a reminder that all feelings are thoughts in the mind, not truth.”
That’s using form to transcend form.
That’s miracle-minded astrology.
So, is astrology bad? No, dear friend. Nothing is bad…not in itself.
“There is no world!” the Course tells us. So how can a horoscope be dangerous?
The Happy Horoscope
Imagine this: Mercury is in retrograde.
Your chart says: “Today’s not ideal for communication.”
Your ego says: “See? Told you! Don’t even try.”
And the Holy Spirit says: “Actually, today is perfect for a miracle.”
Because even if the stars align a certain way…your mind is still the cause and your peace is still available.
“Nothing outside you can save you or hurt you or bring you peace. Nothing.”
(And that includes Pluto in the 12th house.)
Never forget: You are not your rising sign. You are not your past lives.
You are not your chart.
You are the Light of the world and that is written in a place no planet can reach.
It’s not in the stars. It’s in your mind.
With love and light,
G.
