Last night, something visited me.

Not an angel with a trumpet, but a thought (half asleep-half awake):

The Cross.

Not as a heavy wooden instrument of pain, or a church symbol hanging on a wall. But as an image.

A line going up and down.

And a line crossing it sideways.

And suddenly I thought:

The vertical line can that be ‘the connection’.

From Above to below. From Higher Self to the illusion of separation. From Light into form.

The horizontal line…..the world.

The timeline. The dreamscape. The stage where dramas unfold tragedies and comedies.

There where we seem to choose between “good” and “evil,” love or fear, spirituality or distractions. (Don’t worry there is nothing bad about choosing distractions, but not always please).

And right there, at the crossing point….we stand !

Where the vertical and the horizontal meet:

The Now.

The sacred, quiet center.

The only place where miracles happen.

In the old world, the Cross became a symbol of suffering. In the world we’re now is can become a symbol of remembering. A Cross as a signpost.

It gently says:

“Look up, dear child of God.

You are not a body.

You are not a victim.

You are Light, pretending not to be.

Yes, you chose to play in the horizontal world,

but the way Home is always open. Stay in the now and choose love.

A Course in Miracles says it simply, yet powerfully:

“The crucifixion was the extreme example of what the ego thinks it can do to love. But the ego always attacks what it cannot understand.”

We misused the Cross for centuries…as proof that suffering is holy.

But suffering is not a sacrifice…..It’s a mistake!

The so-called ‘Savior’ wasn’t a martyr, but a wakened soul who said:

“You misunderstood me. I didn’t die for your sins. I never truly died. And sin isn’t real.”

So yes, the Cross is a beautiful symbol… if you dare to free it from its past.

Let it no longer be a monument of guilt, but a map back to your SELF.

With love and light,

Gonny
