Sorry if I repeat myself a thousand times, but honestly… does anything else truly matter? Is there any other goal that can compare to peace?

We look for it in so many ways…in relationships, in success, in the right job, in healing sessions, in the perfect life situation. And just when we think we’ve found it, it slips through our fingers like smoke.

But what if peace is not something to be found, but something we simply have to remember?

A Course in Miracles whispers: “Seek not outside yourself. For it will fail, and you will weep each time an idol falls.”

We chase peace in forms because we believe we lost it somewhere out in the world…

But peace has never left us. It’s simply been covered by a thousand noisy thoughts in our own mind.

Peace is not a reward. Not a spiritual diploma you get after enough sessions.

It is your nature.

Just like light doesn’t need to find brightness… we don’t need to create peace.

We are peace.

Non-duality reminds us gently: the separate self who goes out searching, striving, fixing, is not really who you are. That identity is like a cloud passing across the sky. And when it drifts away, what remains is the open, quiet sky of your true being.

But don’t expect peace to make a dramatic entrance.

It doesn’t crash in with fanfare. It comes in stillness. In a soft breath.

In the space between two thoughts. In the moment we stop trying to control everything and simply say,

“I’m willing.”

Even gravestones say “Rest in Peace,” as if peace only comes after death.

But the Course has better news: you can rest in peace now.

While alive. While tired. While imperfect. While doing the laundry.

When you feel disturbed, just pause.

Don’t analyze… just ask: “Could I see this differently?”

That small question opens a big door.

And behind that door is not a solution, but (I know you’ve heard this at least a thousand times by now) a silence that sings:

“Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God.”

Peace is not the destination.

It’s the place you never actually left.

And now… don’t say anything else but this:

I remember.

With love and light,

G.
