“Miracles are seen in the light”

Today’s ACIM Lesson 91 shines a bright light on a truth we often forget: miracles are always there, but you need to turn the light on to see them.

And no, not the ceiling lamp, but the light of your true Self.

Believing the miracle hasn’t come is really just our choice to keep staring into the dark (and then being surprised that we can’t see anything).

It’s like trying to see with your eyes closed and then saying, “There’s nothing here!”

So what keeps us in the dark?

The belief that we are a body.

A fragile bundle of skin and bones with an expiration date and a list of responsibilities.

But thankfully, the Course reminds us:

“I am not a body…..Ask yourself : Then what am I?”

And that’s where the real journey begins…not in books, not in videos, not on the moon, but within yourself.

Today’s lesson invites us to make the switch: from identifying with weakness to experiencing inner strength.

Let’s be honest: it has become quite a habit to wear our weakness as an identity.

We say things like “That’s just how I am,” or “I’m only human.”

But the Course says:

“I am not weak but strong.

I am not helpless but all-powerful.

I am not illusion but reality.”

Perhaps you think: wait a second… me….all-powerful?

Yes. Not to move mountains or build pyramids (though, who knows), but to choose love…..To forgive…..To turn on the light !

The lesson is clear: you are not doing this alone.

Even your smallest effort is supported by a power so great, your doubts would melt like snow in the sun, if you let them.

It’s like thinking you’re climbing the mountain by yourself, while in truth, you are being lovingly carried , upward, into the light.

And there it is:

Miracles. Everywhere.

Not as spectacular light shows or dramatic healings, but as shifts in perception.

As moments when you suddenly know: This is real. This is me. This is love.

A quick practical note , for the forgetful among us:

Today’s lesson invites us to pause regularly.

Not for a quick look on Facebook or coffee, but to remember:

“Miracles are seen in the light. Let me not close my eyes because of temptations.”

Temptation is everywhere. A judgment here, a frustration there, a recurring thought like, “Why do I always have to fix everything?”

But then… you take a breath.

And you whisper: “I am not a body. What am I?”

And the light flickers on.

Maybe not full-power yet, but enough to see that you don’t have to stay in the dark.

Miracles aren’t a reward. They are a law of love.

They don’t appear because you earned them, but because you finally dared to see them.

So today, gently draw the curtain of your mind aside.

Let the light in.

And look around.

Because wherever love is seen, miracles happen — simply because you finally opened your eyes.

With love and light,

G.
