Let me remember God created Me

Suppose for a moment… You’re given the chance to reinvent yourself completely.

A fresh start. A better version of “you.” How would you look, how would I look?

Took me about ten minutes to think… haha, no…just kidding. I instantly heard a little voice in my head saying:

My body isn’t perfect. I could be more intelligent.

And maybe…just maybe…not such a spontaneous blurter.

I tend to speak my mind, often too quickly. I interrupt. I react.

And you? More beautiful? Smarter? Stronger?

Maybe more spiritual, more successful, more creative… a little more zen?

Maybe you’d finally have that calm voice in your head instead of the chaotic committee that never stops debating?

Whatever we choose, chances are …we would want to improve something.

Fix something. Add or remove a few parts.

Just like an IKEA cabinet …missing screws, a Swedish manual, but hey, with enough patience and a hex key, you’ll get there…

Or… maybe not?

Lesson 260 from A Course in Miracles invites us to pause for something much deeper than self-improvement:

“Let me remember God created me.”

That means I didn’t make myself !!

I wasn’t born from history, trauma, or personality traits.

And if I didn’t create myself, then I don’t have to fix, justify, or prove myself, either. Pfffff That’s a huge relief.

In this lesson, ACIM says it clearly: In our madness, we thought we made ourselves.

But deep inside, we already know: We are a Thought of God.

A loving Idea, born of Light, untouched by anything we’ve come to believe about ourselves. We are perfect, exactly as we are.

And what does that mean?

That your true Identity has never changed.

Not because of what you’ve been through or of mistakes or diagnoses or anyone’s opinion.

You are still exactly as God created you. Whole. Holy. Healed.

Today, the Course invites us to see our sinlessness again.

Not with the body’s eyes, but with the Vision of Christ, that quiet gaze that judges nothing and recognizes everything.

Look with those eyes today.

At yourself. At your brothers. Even at that body that sometimes feels like a burden.

And feel: beneath all the layers of doing, thinking, wanting, and doubting… something eternal waits in stillness.

Your True Self…….Unchanged……Innocent…….A Thought of God.

Not an recycled product, but a masterpiece.

Already finished. Already perfect. Already Home.

Just remember : “I am not what I made. I am as God created me.”

With love and light,

G.
