Someone says the word āMatrixā and everyone nods.
They all know what it means (or think they do).
Images fly through the air, the memory about the movie The Matrix, virtual worlds, hidden controllers, beings behind the scenes pulling strings. No one questions the image itself. It has become shorthand for āsomething is wrong with this worldā.
And as so often, the stories grow darkerā¦ā¦.
āWeāre being manipulated,āā¦someone suggestsā¦āby forces we canāt see. Extraterrestrial beings. Higher intelligences. They feed on fear.ā
(Fear, apparently, is not just an emotion, it is fuel.)ā¦.and people start to believe it.
But by believing you say: humans are not conscious beings making choices, but batteries, victims, prisoners.
Even ādeathā offers no escape in these theories. There are warnings like:
āDonāt go into the tunnel when you die. Thatās another trap. Another trick to pull you back into the Matrix.ā
People grow quiet and afraid. They feel helpless and vulnerable,
at the mercy of a system too big, too clever, too powerful to resistā¦
But where is the opposite of fear, where is love?
Because what is striking in all these theories is this: love seems to have no power at all. As if fear is the only real force, and love merely a fragile feeling, easily overridden, easily manipulated.
But this is the greatest distortion of all, because fear has no power of its own ! It only seems powerful because it is BELIEVED. .
Love instead does not need belief to exist. Love is pure power. Love is the essence of the Source/God.
Fear needs constant reinforcement to survive. Love needs NOTHING.
So : chooce LOVE in the Matrix !
The world, this world we think we live in, exists in Consciousness.
Not outside itā¦.above itā¦or underneath it. Consciousness is the source in which the dream, the matrix, appears. It is the field in which bodies appear.
Thoughts arise, stories unfold, and lives seem to be lived.
The body is not a prison. It is a breathtakingly sophisticated instrument within the dream:
DNA, cells, nerves, senses, all exquisitely ordered, responsive, intelligent.
The body is like a violin played by a musician, or a radio receiving a signalā¦
The instruments do not create the music, but without them the music cannot be heard.
The real mistake of the Matrix is not embodiment. It is misidentification.
The moment consciousness believes it is the body, it forgets it is the source. And fear rushes in to fill the gap.
That is where the alien stories become attractive. They offer an explanation for fear without asking us to look at our own belief in it. They shift responsibility outwardā¦and say: āyou are afraid because something is doing this to you.ā
But fear is not imposed. Fear is chosen! It is a habit of perception within the dream. And if fear is chosen, then love can be chosen too.
Always.
No being can override that choice. No system can steal it. No entity can feed on it, unless belief hands it over.
Even death loses its drama hereā¦.death is not an exit, not a punishment, not a trap. It is simply a change of symbols within the dream.
There is no tunnel to avoid, no cosmic test to pass, no trick waiting in ambushā¦. as long as you donāt give it your belief, because :
What you believe you are you experience. But also: what you know you are remains untouched.
Awakening, then, is not about escaping the Matrix, it is about realizing you were never a victim inside it.
You are a fragment of Consciousness, appearing as a human being, moving through a dream world, experiencing separation.
And at every moment, the dream, the Matrix, can become a happy dream by remembering to choose LOVEā¦
like a night dream that loses its grip when you realize you are dreaming.
And then something simple happens. You realize:
I am not a body. I am free.
With love and light,
G.
