(A reflection inspired by A Course in Miracles – W-pII.2)
Have you ever tried to solve a problem that didnāt really exist? Like looking for your sunglasses while theyāre on your head? Or calling your phone from someone elseās phone, only to find it buzzing⦠in your own pocket?
Salvation is a bit like that.
Not because youāre forgetful or silly (well, maybe just a little, we all are in this dream), but because you were never actually lost to begin with.
Imagine God making a pinky promise with you before time began:
āNo matter how lost you think you get, you will find your way back to Me.ā
Thatās not a conditional contract. Itās not, āIf you read ACIM for at least ten years and do your lessons every day, become vegan (or not) , and chant in Sanskrit.ā No. Itās an unbreakable promise. A guarantee.
Time itself will end, because time is just a dream of separation. And when that dream dissolves, so do all those anxious thoughts born in time. Whatās left? Only peace.
The very instant the mind thought of war (also known as separation), the Thought of Peace was given.
Letās say the mind split like a vase falling off a table. In that same micro-moment, the āglueā was provided too. No waiting. No punishment. Just instant compassion.
The funny part? The glue was already inside the vase. It just forgot.
Undoing by doing nnnnnothing?!
Salvation doesnāt attack illusions. It doesnāt need a sword or a megaphone. It simply refuses to support the dream. It sits quietly, sipping tea or coffee, while illusions collapse under their own weight like bad stage props.
And as they dissolveā¦there it is: the altar inside you.
Still shining. Still holy. Covered in the offerings of your forgiveness.
And just behind it? The memory of God, waiting with a smile.
Letās go to the shared Holy Place. Daily.
Not to work harder, but to rest deeper.
Picture it: the final (happy) dream, the peaceful one.
Grass pushing up through the soil, trees budding, birds fluffing their feathers.
Itās not heaven yet, but it smells like it. Sounds like it.
The night is gone. The Light is here.
And so are we, together.
From this place of stillness, we give salvation to the world.
Not by preaching. Not by fixing. Just by being.
Being in remembrance.
Being in Light.
Being free.
And as we singā¦maybe off-key, maybe notā¦the world hears:
āTime is almost over.ā
āFreedom is here.ā
āYouāre already Home, you just forgot.ā
And in that moment, eternity gently shines away the world.
Only Heaven remains.
No refunds needed. No leftover karma.
Just Peace. Just Love. Just God.
So⦠what is salvation?
Itās waking up from a bad dream, still snuggled in bed, realising:
āOh⦠I never really left.ā
And then laughing. Not at yourself, but with your Self.
Because Love never left.
And neither did you.
With love and light,
G.
