We often think reality is fixed, that what we see is just whatās there.
But what if itās not?
What if the very act of looking shapes what we find?
Quantum physics has now confirmed what mystics have whispered for centuriesā¦..āThe act of observation affects reality.ā
Particles behave differently depending on whether they are observed or not.
They collapse from infinite possibilities into one visible form,
because they are being watched.
This means : What I see is never separate from HOW I look (with love or fear).
In other words : What I see depends not just on where I look,
but on who I am when I look⦠and with what intention.
And this is where A Course in Miracles comes in, reminding us :
āPerception is a mirror, not a fact. And what I look on is MY state of mind, reflected outward.ā
(W-304.1:3-4)
So the way I look at the world does not leave the world untouched,
It shapes it,
It gives it meaning,
It decides what form I see.
And this shift in perception⦠becomes a miracle.
In fact in chapter 1 the Meaning of Miracles , 1. Principles, number 3 is written:
āMiracles occur naturally as expressions of love. The real miracle is the love that inspires them. In this sense everything that comes from love is a miracle.ā

Mini Quantum Box: The Observer Effectā¦.
Imagine a particle of light, a photon, moving toward a wall with two openings.
If no one watches, it behaves like a wave, passing through both slits at once,
creating an interference pattern, like ripples in water.
But if someone observes itā¦
it stops being a wave and becomes a particle, choosing one slit only.
The simple act of observing causes it to behave differently.
It changes reality, just by being seen.
And if that sounds familiar, it isā¦
Because A Course in Miracles says the same thing,
not about photons, but about our thoughts, our brothers, our world,
āProjection makes perception.ā
āAs a man thinketh, so does he perceive.ā
So yes, even science now agrees,
The way we look at something⦠changes what it becomes.

Was the Voice (Jesus) of ACIM a Quantum Teacher?
It may sound strange at first, but A Course in Miracles speaks the language of consciousness, long before quantum physics had the words.
Quantum physics says:
There is no fixed reality apart from the observer.
The Course says:
āThere is no world. This is the central thought the Course attempts to teach.ā
Quantum physics says,
Reality appears through the act of observation.
The Course says,
āIdeas leave not their source.ā
āThe world you see is what you gave it, nothing more than that.ā
Both say : Consciousness comes first, form follows !
In physics, a particle remains in possibility until it is measured.
In the Course, forgiveness removes the past so we can see now,
not what we fear, but what is real.
The Course is not trying to change the world. It is teaching us to change
our mind about the world.
Not to fix the image, but to remember we are the dreamer.

Quantum physics points to the mystery, but ACIM reveals the meaning.
It doesnāt just show us that perception is unstable,
It invites us to use it on purpose,
through forgiveness, love, and the decision to see again.
So yes,
The act of observation affects reality.
And youā¦yes YOUā¦.are not just the observerā¦
You are the Light that sees.
With love and light,
G.
