There seems to be a world outside of me.
A world of countries and wars, of discoveries and extraterrestrial encounters, of power and deception, of hope and progress.
But every time I look at that world, I am gently reminded:
As in the great, so in the small.
As above, so below.
As outside, so within.
What I perceive outside of me is merely a reflection of my own mind.
The chaos, the beauty, the struggles, the love, all are echoes of the inner movements within me.
Not to make me feel guilty. Not to condemn me. But to awaken me.
For deep beneath all those images and thoughts, I am the Son of God.
I am Consciousness itself, vast, eternal, incomprehensible.
This little ‘me,’ this personality with a name, a body, a story, is only a temporary dream.
A seeming separation, a small dancing particle within the great Field of Light that I truly Am.
When I see war, I see a reflection of my own forgetting of my true Peace.
When I consider the possibility of extraterrestrial beings, I realize:
it is not they who must reveal themselves to me, it is I who must open my mind to receive the greater Life of which I have always been a part.
Perhaps they have been here all along. But only a heart free of fear,
a mind willing to see love in every form, can truly recognize their presence.
For they too, if they come from Love, are brothers within the One Mind we all share.
Everything I perceive outside of me is an invitation. A gentle question to my Self: Am I willing to remember who I am? Am I willing to see the world no longer through the eyes of fear, but through the eyes of Love?
Today, I remember:
I am the great Consciousness itself.
And this little ‘me’ is but a dreaming thought within the brilliance of eternal Light.
As in the great, so in the small.
As above, so below.
As outside, so within.
All is One.
And I Am.
With love and light,
G.
