It’s a good day. A day of light and love,
Not because everything is perfect. Not because everyone suddenly woke up enlightened. But simply because… we remembered.
Kindness is underrated. It doesn’t shout. It doesn’t post selfies.
It doesn’t say, “Look at me being spiritual.” Kindness just is quiet, soft, powerful. It slips into the room like morning light and warms everything without asking anything back.
Why BE KIND?
Because everyone is fighting a battle you can’t see?
Yes, maybe, but also because you are Light, and kindness is how Light says, “Hello.”
A Course in Miracles might say it this way:
“Love waits on welcome, not on time.”
Kindness is the welcome mat. It opens the door so love can enter into your heart, into your home, into the bus queue.
Kindness is not weakness
Some say, “Be kind, but don’t let people walk all over you.”
That’s not kindness. That’s confusion.
Kindness doesn’t mean letting the world misuse you.
It means knowing who you are, so deeply, that you choose love because you’re strong, not because you’re small.
Kindness isn’t a strategy. It’s a frequency.
It’s a smile at the cashier.
It’s saying, “You first,” at the door.
It’s forgiving yourself for burning the toast… again.
It’s sending a message that simply says, “Thinking of you.”
No emojis needed. Just presence.
Kindness doesn’t keep score.
It doesn’t ask: “Will I get something in return?”
It trusts that giving is receiving, because, well… the Course told us so.
“To give and to receive are one in truth.” (W-108)
A quiet revolution
Today, we don’t need to fix the world.
Or save it.
Or enlighten it.
We just need to be kind.
To a stranger.
To someone we love.
To ourselves.
Because kindness is how love gets dressed when it leaves the house.
And when enough of us wear it, the world starts to sparkle.
Just BE KIND.
With all my love and light,
G.
