Sometimes it feels like we’re living in a joke that nobody really understands. You stumble through life, thinking you’ve paid for your sins, learned your lessons, suffered enough to earn your place in heaven… and then A Course in Miracles in the todays’ lesson calmly says:

“There is no sin. And God’s Will for you is perfect happiness.”

Wait… what?

So all that guilt, all that sacrifice, all that pain, was unnecessary?

Exactly. Welcome to Lesson 101 of A Course in Miracles. The lesson that gives us permission to un-suffer. Literally.

Because as long as you believe that sin is real, you’ll also believe that happiness is a lie. And then you’ll keep chasing it in all the wrong places, in self-denial, in noble suffering, in pleasing a god who sits on a cloud holding a divine scorecard.

But that’s not God. That’s the ego’s version of God, vengeful, stern, obsessed with punishment points.

Just imagine how it feels when really sinks in: “There is no sin. And God’s Will for you is perfect happiness.”

That you never truly sinned….That nothing can separate you from the Love that created you….That pain is just a trick of perception.

Now, this doesn’t mean we deny the suffering we seem to see, no, we see THROUGH it. We hand it over to the Holy Spirit with the quiet certainty that only Love is real. ‘Sins’ become ‘mistakes’….always! Even a murder. Ofcourse you cannot correct a murder, but in your mind you can, you can regret, forgive, change, you can chooce Love. (Even from a prison).

True freedom doesn’t mean acting without care.

It means choosing love instead of fear.

It means realizing that when you remember who you truly are : innocent, eternal, and joined with all , you wouldn’t want to harm anyone. Not out of fear of punishment, but out of joy in shared being.

So no, the absence of sin is not a license for chaos.

It’s the end of chaos.

And it’s the beginning of peace.

With love and light,

G.
